about me
A Journey Inward, Together
Hi! I’m Ahsen. I’m a final year medical student, walking the path between science and art.
I create through music and painting not only as a form of expression, but as a way of healing. I hope to become a psychiatrist and I believe in the quiet power of art to reach places words often cannot.
What I share here has brought light to my own journey. Perhaps it will speak to yours, too.
With hope, and a wish to inspire, together.

Prologue: Free Association
This week, we turn our attention to a fictional dialogue between Sigmund and William.
Back in med school, I used to believe healing was mostly about science; clear answers, structured thinking, knowing what’s “wrong.”
But the more I studied the mind, the more I realized: some things don’t fit into charts.
That’s when I found myself turning to artists to those who tried to express what can’t quite be said.
Jung, Van Gogh, Dante, Tolstoy, Shakespeare… Each of them reached into the unconscious in their own way, through their own language.
This drawing — Prologue — comes from that meeting point,
where my medical mind and my artistic side began to speak to each other.
Drawn in the delicate style of Eastern miniatures, it brings two iconic Western voices into a shared, imagined stillness.
Reflections from the Visiters
Authenticity invites connection. Start where you are.
As a computer engineer with a passion for music, I find this space deeply inspiring. It’s a joy to follow such thoughtful and creative work across disciplines. It reminds me how valuable it is to see science and art in conversation and how much light can come from simply sharing what moves us.

It would be irrational to seperate art from human nature, as art is the reflection of what makes human classify as one: mind and soul. As an aspiring doctor and an animation enthusiast since childhood i am thrilled to watch Ahsen’s journey as she seems to explore depths of human soul by using art as a tool, which is inspiring not only for me but for other people who feels art deserves a fundemental role in life but was too confused to actually give it credit.

As someone who believes that humanity has existed and expressed itself through art, throughout history, this page, which reflects the fusion of social sciences and humanities in the modern world, has been a work that will inspire culture, art, and architecture enthusiasts like me, and that’s wonderful.
